FAQ

1. What is the minimum order quantity?

This can be as low as 100 panels. The main issue is the number of components needed on each panel, and the quantities of individual components required. The overall quantity per year of a particular pcb assembly is important to understand how initial setup costs for stencils, PCB artwork etc will be recurring or non-recurring.. The ideal quantities are in the order of 1000 to 5000 panels. Large runs as high as 100,000+ are undertaken, but usually only after smaller runs have proven the producability of the pcb assembly.

2. How do payments take place?

We always endeavor to spread the costs over the duration of the product. The normal way is for stage payments. However,in some cases a letter of credit may be needed to handle the stage payments and ensure clarity and confidence on both sides. Due to the nature of long lead times for for some electronic components, some parts have to be paid in full before others. Specialist ICs for example can require payment in full to the manufacturer before they will run. Any of these cases will be advised advised in the quote.

3. How are items shipped?

We can use your courier service provider, or can use one of our choice. All goods are shipped using internationally renowned couriers, such as UPS, TNT and DHL.

4. How will I be sure we will not get ripped off!?

Strict rules in Penang safeguard against bad practice with International accounts. We have been in business for over 10 years.
